Writing Prompt #2

Beach scenes can evoke powerful memories and nostalgia in many of us, as we are transported back in time to annual family getaways, full of gritty bathing-suit bottoms, sun-kissed salty caresses, and warm sand between our toes.  But these excursions from the hustle and bustle of everyday life aren't always as sunny and clear as the blue skies in the photos we take as keepsakes. In less than to 2,000 words, write a story inspired by the photo above that seeks to capture those funny, sad, awkward, or even life-changing moments that don't get documented in our photo journals but are immortalized in our memories nonetheless.
