Writer’s Wordhouse, founded by Lynn Auld Schwartz, offers a variety of writing workshops, small teleseminars and private coaching in fiction, life stories and story development.

Bay to Ocean Writers' Conference






"The Bay To Ocean Writers Conference is a one-day nonprofit conference that has attracted and motivated more than 1,500 writers over its history. Attendees come from surrounding states and the District of Columbia as well as from throughout the Chesapeake Bay and Delmarva region. The conference is sponsored by the Eastern Shore Writers' Association, a nonprofit organization of writers from across the tri-state Delmarva Peninsula. Registration opens Oct. 1, 2012."

Sisters in Crime - Chesapeake Chapter

Sisters in Crime Chessie Chapter was "founded in 1990 as a regional chapter of Sisters in Crime (SinC), an international organization for people who love mysteries in support of women who write them. Membership is open to everyone. The only qualification you need is an interest in whodunits and membership in SinC International. Your membership includes SinC International's newsletter, InSinC; Chesapeake Chapter's newsletter, Criminal Tendencies; and the international organization's Books in Print, featuring listings of all current books by Sisters in Crime authors."

The Hollowdeck Writer's Guild

"The Hollowdeck Writer’s Guild in Maryland is a community of multi-genre writers that meets at The Firedrake Center for the Arts, a community arts center located at Welcome Home Farm, a 45 acre farm just north Baltimore, Maryland.
